Monday the 6th June 2016 will be the first day of Ramadan.

The high judiciary council of Saudi Arabia have announced that tomorrow Monday the 6th June 2016 will be the first day of Ramadan. Our Calendar is now available online!
Ramadan 2016 at Newcastle Central Mosque
Facilities for both brothers and sisters are available. We strongly advise that parents do not bring their children under 6 to the prayer areas as to not cause disturbance to others. Please use the creche facility that has been arranged.
Iftar will be provided for Brothers only. To sponsor an iftar you can contact brother Jamal on 07977400583.
Please park considerately without causing disruption to our neighbours especially the ambulance service nearby.
An opportunity to join the circles of Quran. Brothers' sessions will be held Monday to Thursday after Asr Salah at 6pm. Sisters' sessions will be from 12pm till Dhuhr (1:30m) Monday to Thursday.
Tafsir of Surah Kahf
Our own Imam Abdul Basith Omry will be delivering this Tafsir every Saturday and Sunday throughout Ramadan after Dhuhr Salah from 1:30pm.
Sisters Study Circle
This class will be carrying on in Ramadan from 4pm till 6:30pm on Saturdays.
Similar to Masjid Mania, this will be every Saturday in Ramadan from Asr salah, 6pm till Iftar time and Maghrib. Actvities, games and reminders will be arranged for the youth in the Mosque.
Daily short reminders given after Dhuhr salah every weekday.
Qiyam Ul Layl
This will take place in the last 10 days of Ramadan from 1am.
This should be given by the 27th of Ramadan allowing us time to distribute among the needy. It will be £5 per person.
